Urge PBS to Broadcast BBC Documentary on Sabra and Shatila

ADC is asking its members and supporters to urge national and local PBS to air a BBC documentary by the Panorama about the 1982 massacre at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps outside Beirut. A BBC webpage on the program gives further background. The program outlines the case that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who was Minister of Defense at the time of the massacre, bears the full legal responsibility for this crime against humanity.

ACTION REQUESTED:

Please contact national PBS and your local PBS stations and urge them to broadcast the BBC Panorama documentary “The Accused” about the 1982 massacre at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps outside Beirut. National headquarters of PBS can be reached at:

Public Broadcasting Service
1320 Braddock Place
Alexandria, VA 22314
email: viewer@pbs.org

Through the online station finder at <http://www.pbs.org/> you can find and contact your local PBS station.
