ADC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

• Assist the director with work involving the administration and maintenance of our National Office Website
• Monitor and mobilize activists to work on projects, issues, action alerts, campaigns, etc... through our extensive e-mailing list.
• Help to organize Internet workshop for our National Convention in June. This includes researching & writing a manual.
• Assist in planning video project to be shown at the National Convention. This includes research and video editing.
• Assist in all aspect of registration process for the National Convention. Assist in updating website during National Convention.
• Summer projects include maintaining the Legislative Watch section on our Website & writing action alerts for this section, monitoring Congressional legislation and hearings through the Internet to update our members relevant issues, and working with advertisers & other organizations to promote ADC's website and activities.

Requirement:

• Extensive computer knowledge ( or willingness to learn) in such programs as WordPerfect 6.1, HTML, CGI & DPS.
• Video editing knowledge(or willingness to learn).
• Must possess willingness to learn new tasks and tackle challenging projects.
• Must be able to work indepently and be reliable with projects.

Schedule:

• At Least 20 hours per week, will be extended to full-time as Convention draws near.
