Community Conference Call Regarding Government “CVE” Programs

Washington, DC | www.adc.org | June 13, 2016 – In light of the tragedy which struck Orlando this month, there will be a renewed focus on the government’s “Countering Violent Extremism” (CVE) programs. The conversation around CVE and radicalization is an important one for the community to have. ADC will be hosting a National Community Conference call to discuss CVE, the civil rights implications of government programs, and what the community can do to address extremism/radicalization.

The call will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2016 from 3:00PM-5:00PM EST. The call is open to the public, however registration is required. The call-in number will be provided upon registration.

Participants will hear important information pertaining to the government run CVE programs. There will also be a conversation about what community members and organizations can do to empower themselves in the fight against extremism and radicalization.

Speakers will be announced at a future date. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Remember, participants must complete the registration form in order to receive the call number.
