ADC is a grassroots civil rights organization which welcomes people of all backgrounds, faiths and ethnicities as members.

The ADC was founded in Washington, DC by U.S. Senator Jim Abourezk in 1980 Advisory Board members include: Muhammad Ali, Her Majesty Queen Noor, several U.S. Congressmen, & Casey Kasem among others ADC has members in all 50 states - and it is the largest Arab American organization of its kind
The three cities with the largest concentrations of Arab Americans are: Los Angeles, Detroit, & New York.

Three-fourths of Arab Americans are Christian according to the latest data .

There are 3 million Americans with Arab heritage and approximately 7 million Muslim Americans (by comparison there are 5.2 million Jewish Americans)

Famous Arab Americans include: Ralph Nader, Salma Hayek, Casey Kasem, Doug Flutie, Shakira, Paula Abdul, Spencer Abraham and many more (click here to see an illustrated brochure) The Arab American market is considerable. Arab American consumers have a buying power of $104 billion.

The Arab World is made up of 22 countries with a combined economy of $1.2 trillion annually. It's population is slightly larger than the US (300 million people) most of whom live in Africa.

The ADC Communications Department, has made over 3,000 radio & television appearances to date

Our legal department handles over 2000 complaints/cases per year

Our website averages well over 1 million hits per month and is ranked number one in Google for both "Arab American" and "Discrimination"

Tens of thousands of letters have been written to Congress and the White House through our government affairs site.
