Washington, DC | September 18, 2009 | www.adc.org | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee is pleased to announce that its Legal Director, Nawar Shora, will be participating in the 55th Annual American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS) Conference in Anaheim, California. ASIS is the world's largest security organization and recently launched its first ever Faith-Based Organizations Council. Shora was recruited to sit on the council and present at the Faith-Based Organization's Council workshop which will take place from September 20th-24th. More information on the conference can be found here : www.christiannewswire.com/news/8536011258.html
Nawar Shora said, "Perhaps one of our greatest challenges as a society has been a lack of trust and lack of understanding. The Faith-Based Organization Security Council will help further communication and broaden understanding, thus ultimately improving society's trust. Once faith-based communities secure this trust, they can move forward in security, safety and dialogue."
