Washington, DC | www.adc.org | June 14, 2010 - The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is urging members in California to contact the San Francisco City and County Council and ask that they vote YES on Resolution  to condemn the Israeli massacre of humanitarian activists aboard the Flotilla and asking for an end to the siege in Gaza.  Full text of the resolution can be read by clicking here

The resolution by the That the City and County of San Francisco urges President Barack Obama and Congress to strengthen their ongoing diplomatic efforts to create peace in the region and call for an independent investigation into the events surrounding the raid on the Freedom Flotilla and, in particular, into the raid itself, the use of force and rules of engagement by the Israeli Defense Forces; and,  to continue their work addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, actively seek an end to the blockade, and work towards genuine peace and security for all peoples in the region.
