Missing Journalists in Libya
Washington, DC | www.adc.org | March 17, 2011 -- The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) expresses grave concerns over the four missing New York Times journalists in Libya. The missing New York Times journalists are: Beirut bureau chief Anthony Shadid; reporter and videographer Stephen Farrell; and photographers Tyler Hicks and Lynsey Addario.
There are news reports that other journalists may also be missing. ADC asks all parties involved to locate and ensure the safe return of all missing journalists.
Anthony Shadid, a twice winner of the Pulitzer Prize, is a former ADC intern. The ADC Anthony Shadid Internship Program is named after him.
