ADC Extends Best Wishes for Eid al-Adha
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) conveys its warmest wishes to members and friends who are celebrating Eid al-Adha (The Festival of Sacrifice). This celebration marks the end of the “Hajj” pilgrimage season to Mecca and other Muslim holy sites. This year the festivities of Eid al-Adha start on Sunday, November 6, and last four days following the pilgrimage.
Through generosity, compassion, and commitment, may we continue to work together to restore a lasting peace with justice.
NOTE TO EDITORS: The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), which is non-profit, non-sectarian and non-partisan, is the largest grassroots Arab-American civil rights and civil liberties organization in the United States. It was founded in 1980 by former Senator James Abourezk. ADC has a national network of chapters and members in all 50 states.
