Take Action Now: Undo NDAA! Support Due Process Guarantee Act
The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) urges all members to take immediate action and tell Congress to support H.R. 3702, the Due Process Guarantee Act. The proposed act seeks to undo the “indefinite detention” provision within the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). President Obama signed the NDAA which allows anyone suspected of terrorism, including U.S. Citizens, to be indefinitely detained by the U.S. Military.
H.R. 3702 is a step in the right direction to ensuring protection of an individual’s Constitutional Right of Due Process. Take Action Now!
NOTE TO EDITORS: The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), which is non-profit, non-sectarian and non-partisan, is the largest grassroots Arab-American civil rights and civil liberties organization in the United States. It was founded in 1980 by former Senator James Abourezk. ADC has a national network of chapters and members in all 50 states.
