This month ADC submitted the request to the Citizens Stamp Advisory Committee (CSAC) for a Kahlil Gibran commemorative postage stamp. Thank you for showing us tremendous support over the last 6 months of this campaign! Your participation exemplifies the impact our members can make when we come together to act towards a common goal!

Please join ADC in the Langston Room at Busboys and Poets next Wednesday for a special Arabesque event as a tribute to Kahlil Gibran! Together let's commemorate the proposal submission and the 130th anniversary of Gibran's birth by learning about his influence on the many facets of contemporary arts. Next week's event will showcase artists from our community, and will include poetry readings, and spoken word performances (among other acts). Check Facebook for further details!

  • As space is limited, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and not guaranteed
  • This month's Arabesque is FREE for both ADC members and non-members
