Washington, DC – Today, the American-Arab Anti Discrimination Committee‘s (ADC) Communications Coordinator, Siwar Bandar and ADC Legal Advisor, Nawar Shora will appear on Arab Radio & Television (ART) America. Bandar and Shora were guests on the weekly television show “Downstairs Café,” where they discussed ADC and issues of concern to the Arab-American community.
The episode will air at 8:00 pm EST and re-air on Sunday at 1:00 am EST. It can also been seen in the Middle East on EIN on Sunday at 8:30 GMT and Monday at 1:00 pm GMT.
During the show, Bandar and Shora answered questions on the work and responsibility of ADC, the PATRIOT Act, working in coalitions, immigration, and civic participation.
