ADC Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Egypt

Washington, DC | April 25, 2006 | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) condemns the bombings that hit the Egyptian Red Sea Resort of Dahab on Monday, April 24. The three bombings claimed the lives of 23 people and injured at least 62 people. Three foreign tourists were killed in the attacks but most of the casualties were Egyptians who were enjoying their spring holidays when the bombings occurred.
ADC President Hon. Mary Rose Oakar said, “Our thoughts and prayers go to the families of those killed in the attacks. We call for a thorough investigation into the matter and for those found responsible to be held accountable to the full extent of the law.”
ADC extends its condolences to the families of the victims and the Egyptian people.
