7-ADC National Convention: Washington, DC June 8-10, 2007
Please join the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) for its 2007 Annual National Convention. The Convention, which marks ADC’s 27 years of dedication to civil and human rights, will take place June 8-10, 2007, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel located at: 2500 Calvert Street NW, Washington, DC 20008. The ADC Annual National Convention is consistently the largest annual gathering of Arab-Americans in our nation’s capital. More details will be posted on www.adc.org
Additionally, on Monday, June 11, ADC will join United for Peace and Justice and the US Campaign to End the Occupation in holding a lobby day on the 40th Anniversary of the 1967 Israeli occupation. ADC and these groups will advocate for a fair and balanced US policy toward he Middle East and an end to the occupation of Palestinian lands. ADC will also advocate for domestic legislative agendas that directly affect the Arab-American community including guarantees of due process for non-citizens in comprehensive immigration reform, Senate oversight hearings on the National Security Entry-Exit System (NSEERS), and passage of racial profiling, hate crimes and law enforcement integrity acts during the 110th Congress. https://www.adc.org/index.php?id=3046
