ADC-Michigan Welcomes Medgar Evers Summer Interns Class of 2014

ADC-Michigan Welcomes Medgar Evers Summer Interns Class of 2014

One of the most exciting parts of summer at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) Michigan Regional Office is meeting, working with, and educating the future generations of young Americans that come to us as enthusiastic interns! This year is no exception, as we welcome five new members of the ADC-Michigan team this summer. The ADC-Michigan is proud to provide this highly challenging and creative civil rights internship program which was created in honor of Medgar Evers, the legendary civil rights pioneer who fought and died defending the rights of his fellow Americans. We are very excited to welcome the Medgar Evers Summer Interns Class of 2014!

Here they are:

Mallak A., University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

Elyssa B., University of Chicago

(Fatina Abdrabboh, ADC Michigan President)

Parnell F., Western Michigan University

Hanan Y., University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

After completing the internship, each Medgar Evers intern receives up to $2,000 in stipends and scholarship money. For more information on how to apply to the Class of 2015 ADC-Michigan Medgar Evers Internship Program, contact us at 313-581-1201 or adcmich@adc.org.
