ADC Stands in Solidarity with Sri Lanka

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), offers our deepest condolences to the victims and to all those impacted by the atrocious attacks that took place in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday that killed nearly 300 people and left more than 450 injured.

In a statement, ADC National President Samer Khalaf said:

“On behalf of the ADC, I share our most sincere and deepest condolences to the victims of these heinous attacks and to the people of Sri Lanka. Targeting individuals for their faith goes against all of humanity. All people irrespective of their religion, faith, or background have the right to pray or worship in a protected and safe manner. This is true whether it be churches in Sri Lanka, mosques in New Zealand, a synagogue in Pittsburgh, a Sikh Gurdwara in Wisconsin, or a church in Louisiana. Today, it is vital to treat the wounded, mourn the murdered, and find those responsible for this atrocity. The ADC stands in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka as they pursue justice for the victims and heal as a nation.”
