ADC to Present the 2015 Rose Nader Award to Professor Sahar F. Aziz

Washington, D.C. | www.adc.org | June 3, 2015 – The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is proud to announce that it will present the 2015 Rose Nader Award to Professor Sahar F. Aziz at ADC’s 35th Anniversary National Convention in Washington, DC.

ADC will present the award to Professor Aziz at the Annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon, which will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 12:30PM-2:00PM.

Each year, ADC honors Rose Nader by presenting an award on her behalf to an individual with unwavering dedication and commitment to values of equality and justice.

ADC invites you to register for the ADC Convention and join us in honoring Professor Aziz at the Women’s Empowerment Luncheon.


About the Awardee
:

Sahar F. Aziz is an Associate Professor of Law at Texas A&M University School of Law. She previously served as a senior policy advisor for the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she worked on law and policy at the intersection of national security and civil rights. Read Professor Aziz’s full bio here.
