ADC Welcomes Dania Shami, Legal Advisor

Washington, DC | April 2, 2008 | www.adc.org | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is pleased to welcome Ms. Dania Shami, JD, as Legal Advisor. Ms. Shami, who is fluent in Arabic, has a BS in Finance and a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. In 2007, Ms. Shami graduated from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.
While at Temple, she was a member of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. She also participated in the Temple Law Immigration clinic at the Nationalities Services Center in Philadelphia representing primarily refugees and asylum seekers. She revived and was President of the Muslim Law Student’s Association at Temple which raised over $1000 for Hurricane Katrina victims through a Fast-A-Thon. Additionally, she was an intern with the Education and Outreach department at ADC in 2000.
