Convention Panel: Legislative Update and Community Discussion

Washington, DC | www.adc.org | June 8, 2022|  The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is proud to announce our working lunch session at ADC’s annual National Convention in Washington, DC., “Legislative Update and Community Discussion.” ADC’s Legislative and Policy Coordinator Chris Habiby will be joined by Edward Ayoob, a partner at Barnes & Thornburg, to give the community an update on what is going on in DC. They will discuss both major issues before Congress and the Administration and issues specific to the Arab American community. Following the update, Chris and Edward will take questions from the audience.

Meet the Panelists:

Edward Ayoob is a partner and the co-chair of the Federal Relations Group in Barnes & Thornburg’s Washington, D.C., office. His work on behalf of clients includes areas such as taxation, appropriations, Native American, small business, foreign affairs, and various regulatory concerns, among numerous other issues.

Chris Habiby is ADC’s Legislative and Policy Coordinator. He advocates for policies critical for our community before Congress and the Administration. He holds a Master’s degree in Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy.
